    HI-JACKING FAILS IN MNANDI

At approximately 14:30 on Monday the 10th of June 2013, a man driving a blue Ford Fiesta stopped at the side of the road inSummit Road, Mnandi to use his cell phone. While he was busy on the phone, a group of four African females and two African males approached his vehicle.

They took the driver’s cell phone, wallet and the keys for his vehicle. At this point in time, Monitor Net response officer Nico Chrisostimo came driving down the road and saw what was happening. He immediately stopped to assist the driver of the vehicle and managed to apprehend all four females and one of the males.

The stolen items where recovered and returned to the driver of the vehicle. The SAPS arrived on the scene a short while later and took the suspects away.
